This may be the Mediterranean in me talking, but I’ve sort of come to expect that I wake up and see beautiful skies all around me.
Of course; there’s no better way to do this than by adding a skylight, or better yet a glass roof to your bedroom (which of course you can close when needed).
Now sadly, I don’t have one of these but this doesn’t keep me from wishing and thinking that one day I would.
