There’s something I’ve always wanted to do, always advise people to do yet never got down to it myself.
Not to be a downer here, but have you ever thought about what will happen to your online business if you – you know – kick the bucket?
I’m currently writing this email from 36,000 feet above mainland Europe and if this thing goes down, my entire business will go down with it.
Even though I’ve been saying I want to do it, I still have not created some form of document to explain to those I’ll leave behind what is what, where is what and how to get it.
I’ve explained to my family how to get to my crypto holdings, but when it comes to my “online business” – nobody has a clue about what they need to do.
I have sites, accounts, and affiliate programs which no-one knows about.
The good thing is that if I were to go, affiliate commissions would keep rolling in, but since no-one knows my PayPal details, nobody can claim them.
This is not good, and I really need to get my act together here, or better yet, “get my affairs in order”.
The reason I’m bringing this up is so you can plan ahead.
It’s not an excuse, but one of the reasons I keep procrastinating on this is because there’s just so much I need to cover and list down.
If you’re just getting started, make sure your document everything from the get-go.
Write everything down.
Domains, emails, passwords, everything – and let your family know how to get to your business.
Just something to think about – *just in case*
I’ll leave you to it.
