I don’t blame you if you think affiliate marketing is some golden opportunity for quick riches.
All you need to do is just show up and suddenly start receiving life-changing passive income right?
Wrong!
The make money online industry definitely does sell it as such, and sadly; I too fell for this many times over.
However; while any guru worth his salt will tell you that you need to commit long-term before you can make any significant income, in theory;
You really can start making money relatively quickly with affiliate marketing.
Can you find success with affiliate marketing within a month?
The truth is that;
Yes; most definitely you can, and I will tell you what you need and how to do it in this post but please note:
These are very rare exceptions, and it requires you to have certain things already in place before you start making any money.
If you are a complete beginner – with nothing that can be used to make money with affiliate marketing, then likely (although not entirely impossible) you will not be making any money with affiliate marketing any time soon.
So what is that thing I speak of?
An audience.
If you have an audience – that’s all that matters.
If you have a big enough audience in your pocket, you can make your first $100 with affiliate marketing today!

Why Does It Take So Long For Affiliate Marketing To Make Money?
The only thing that takes a long time to get with affiliate marketing is that you need to have an audience.
That is the key to all success and sadly; that is the things that take a long time to achieve.
That’s just the way it is.
Setting up a website, writing content, finding affiliate programs to promote and so forth can all be done quickly – in a matter of days really – but building an audience?
That would take a long time.
However, once you have that – or if you have that already – then you can quickly find success with affiliate marketing if you know what to do.
Next, I will be discussing what to and how to do it both if you have an audience or if you don’t.
Let’s see…
I Have An Audience Already – What Do I Do?
Excellent – good for you, the hard part is over.
Just to be clear, when I say you need to have an audience already, I mean you either:
- Have an engaged social media account with engaged followers.
- Have a website already getting traffic (that you need to monetize).
- Have an email list that is just sitting there not doing/earning much.
Whichever one you have – as long as you have an audience – you are ready to start making money and yes; you can even start seeing some success with affiliate marketing right from today.
Here’s what you need to do to monetize;
Have your own website
If you do not have a website, get one.
This is needed as this is where (and how) you will be making your income.
If you have an email list, you just may be able to do it without a website but ideally; you also have a website as well.
Just have a damn website.
They are piss-cheap to start and maintain, and this will be where you conduct business; i.e make money.
Instagram is not where you conduct business; you conduct business (and create affiliate offers) on your website.
Send your audience to your website
Now that you have an audience in place, you simply need to drive that audience to your website to your targetted offers.
For example, if you have an Instagram following in the make-up niche, driving followers to check out the latest reviews and the most recent “best of” guides you have on your website would be the best way to go.
Note you also need to join an affiliate program.
This is where you get your affiliate links from which will credit you for the sale if you happen to do one.

As you may have imagined, you also need to be creating content that you can drive visitors too.
This may seem intimidating, but trust me; it’s incredibly easy.

I Don’t Have An Audience – What’s My Next Step?
If you don’t have an audience, the first thing you need to do is build one and yes; start your own website.
There are many ways you can build an audience around something you’re passionate about (i.e. your niche).
You can use Instagram or my personal favourite; Twitter to do so and you can start driving those people to your website to read your blogs, guides, reviews, etc.
How to build an audience for affiliate marketing?
Nobody is going to go out of their way to buy from your affiliate links just because you have decided to share them everywhere.
That’s called spam.
To find success and longevity with affiliate marketing – and keep an audience wanting more – start providing helpful (or at the very least entertaining) information.
Just dropping links everywhere is not going to do much for you, even if you do have an audience.
Can this be done in a month?
Unlikely, but it’s not impossible to build an engaged audience in a month. I already had 500 people on my Twitter in the first 30 days and yes;
I did make money just from tweeting and driving followers back to my website – this website.
However; you can not expect life-changing results in a month either.
Remember; having success with affiliate marketing is a long-term play.
You might make $10, which yes is a success – kudos to you – but you’re very far away from making close-enough money to transform your life.
So what do you do?
Have patience.
The way I build an audience and maybe the way you probably have found me is through SEO (search engine optimization).
From my experiences, I can tell you that this is the best, most long-lasting traffic source you can have but I have to tell you;
You are not going to see results in a month.
If you want the truth; you need to wait at least 6-12 months with SEO before you start seeing some real-life-changing income.

The Only Way To Find Success With Affiliate Marketing
All the information I gave you above is coming from my own personal experiences and what I have observed in the affiliate marketing industry.
Is it possible to make money with affiliate marketing in a month?
Yes.
Is it possible to work on your business for two years and not see a cent?
Unlikely but yes.
The thing you need to keep in mind here is that although affiliate marketing is relatively easy to start, it is not an easy subject to master.
This is why I highly and strongly suggest you do not take any action towards building something without knowing HOW & WHY.
You need to know why you are doing certain things and obviously; how to do them.

This is the same training course I have used to find success with my own affiliate marketing efforts – although admittedly; it was not within a month.
My journey was a long-term-play and honesty; I would suggest you go into this business with the mindset that you are ready to do the work for the long-term and not expecting quick results.
The biggest scam in affiliate marketing is this random idea of quick riches.
Nothing about affiliate marketing is quick, and I honestly have no idea how the fake gurus out there managed to convince the world that affiliate marketing is something you can just do for a few days and get rich.
Again, you can find success with affiliate marketing in a month or so; but it’s incredibly unlikely you will be pushing a Lambo by day 30 of starting this business.
